For our inaugural customer-highlight blog, we wanted to focus on our friends right up the road at Peterson Energy Consultants. This local company is owned and operated by a husband and wife team, Paul and Mindy Peterson, that specializes in residential insulation.
We aren’t just your average Blow and Go Insulator...
The Peterson’s operate their company with the conviction* that a home should be energy efficient, while still being a home.
“We aren’t just your average Blow and Go Insulator,” Mindy says. “We take pride in offering a wide range of energy related services. At PEC, we can help increase comfort, indoor air quality, and reduce energy bills.”
Mindy says the company’s desire to help others maximize energy efficiency grew 
out of Paul’s 30 years of experience. During his time within the insulation industry, Paul saw an oncoming energy crises where home utilities would soar unless homeowners knew how to prepare.
“He learned early on that just insulating your home wasn’t enough,” Mindy says. “Therefore he pushed himself into digging deeper and looking at a home as a puzzle. There are many pieces that need to work together to make a healthy and efficient home.”
Peterson Energy Consultants is a family run business.
The couple of fourteen years also enjoy running the business as a team.
“Paul and I work very well together and are always on the same page,” Mindy says. “Also, we strive to keep our finger on the pulse of our business and no better way than to do it together.”
Mindy believes the company’s future is bright, because there is a need for energy efficient, and comfortable homes. We at Alphagraphics have thoroughly enjoyed working with Mindy and Paul to help spread the word about their wonderful business!
“When I first came to Alphagraphics I was so stressed out, trying to figure out how to design a brochure,” Mindy says. “(Alphagraphics’ team) worked hand in hand with me...our brochures turned out AMAZING! (They) catered to us and made the whole experience joyful.”

*PEC takes the quality of their business serious enough to have obtained certifications from voices in the energy field like the Building Performance Institute. They are certified as an Energy Auditor through Missouri Department of Natural Resource. PEC recently added another service to their company, a lighting division installing energy efficient Tubular Skylights (called Solatubes).
