As the new owners of Alphagraphics in St. Louis, We would like to introduce ourselves personally to you. After researching many independent business opportunities, we finally discovered the Alphagraphics franchise center in Fenton. We knew that we wanted to be a part of Alphagraphics because of the history of commitment to other St. Louis business’ success. Every day, we are
inspired by our customer’s businesses and so appreciate those relationships. With the help of our experienced, detailed production team, we know that Alphagraphics can become the most trusted print and marketing firm for St. Louis businesses, schools and non-profit organizations.
Although I am from Ethiopia, and my husband is from Eritrea, we have made St. Louis our home for more than 10 years now. We both attended college in Germany, and like most German university students, we worked during the summer months to save money for the following semester. We met while working in a Volkswagen factory in Wolfsburg, Germany. I later continued my education at Louisiana State University. Mike followed me to the United States where we eventually settled in St. Louis to raise our two sons.
Having previously owned several businesses, including cell phone stores, a gas station and an online store, we love the satisfaction of owning and operating a family business together. Since coming to Alphagraphics, there have been several projects which brought such satisfaction. The first, the 2015-2016 year book for
The College School, a long-standing customer, is a project we do yearly. This year the theme was “Adventure” and featured wonderful quotes by the graduating students, as well as many full-color photo collages.

Another inspiring project was printed for
JMac Gives Back, a not-for-profit football camp for kids started by St. Louisan Jeremy Maclin (Wide Receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs). These posters, featuring a photo of the camp counselors (all football players), were signed and given to the kids who attended the camp. One of our employees came in on a Saturday to produce these and we are very proud to be able to provide such a keepsake for the campers.
Alphagraphics had a blog for a few years under the previous owners, but we are making a few changes. We see it as an unparalleled opportunity to connect with the St. Louis community, and to share ideas and completed projects from our customers in a way that is mutually beneficial. We will be sharing and promoting what our customers are doing and the neat projects they commission from us. We’ll also be posting useful tips, ideas, printing facts or other interesting posts about the print, marketing or design industry.
