Business Cards, the New Now!

To say business cards have come a long way is a complete understatement. Gone are the days when a lawyer or accountant only used white or cream colored card stock with raised (Thermography) black ink. A modern attorney or CPA now have professional but graphic and often colorful logos and brand identity. And to have someone hand you a metal engraved or triple thick layer business card is not only common, but all the rage. Special shinny or matte coatings, soft touch laminates, embossed or raised images, gold, silver or even rainbow color foil stamp are now an everyday option. One of the newest options is the multi loft, or sandwich business cards. It is just what it sounds like, where you may "sandwich" different colored cards stocks together to create a double or triple thick business card with different or complimentary colored cover stocks bonded together. Similar in look to the new painted edge cards (also a hot new trend in business cards), multi-loft business cards are impressive to the touch and allow for many color options. You can even mix and match a multi-loft business card with foil stamping and silk laminate for the ultimate in designer business cards. Think all business cards are the standard size? Think again. Today, square, round and even custom die cut business cards are taking the place of the standard 3.5" wide by 2" tall traditional sized business cards.
