Carbonless NCR Forms, Alive and Kicking!

I know, you probably think that the internet and all things screen related have signed the death warrant for carbonless printed NCR (No carbon required) forms, but that is not the case. Yes, a mobile sales agent armed with the latest iPad or tablet can bring up a form in no time, you can "sign" it with your finger and just like that, you bought a house! But carbonless forms are making a comeback in certain industries. Some businesses and organizations that must have an actual hard copy signature, or in industries where the environment is too harsh for modern electronic tablets and laptops rely on hand copy forms. Carbonless forms come in many different confirmations and color sets. Most common are the two and three part varieties. The two part usually has a white top sheet and a yellow bottom sheet easily attached at the top. The three part sets commonly add a third bottom pink copy. Perforation at the top, bottom or sides makes for a great option if you need to separate just a part of the form, like a matching number or instruction. You can also custom make carbonless sets in any color combination you choose. Another option is to have the forms bound in a pad form with a wrap-around cover, usually made of standard #110 manilla card stock that doubles as a divider between the set you are using and the next set. While the internet will surely continue to dominate the traditional forms market, we have seen a continued demand and increase in full color printing on carbonless forms. Gone are the days of boring 8.5" x 11" letter sized forms printed in just black in. Todays carbonless forms are sexy and colorful, and come in all sizes. Even better, with digital printing, you can do smaller cost effective runs, or versioning of different sets customized to a specific event or company. Still not sure about the cost effective use of carbonless forms?  Give us a call, we are happy to assist you.
